8th Hat of 2015 ~

More than halfway to my goal of 15 hats in 2015. These are Seattle Seahawks "teen hats" for donation to our Christmas gifts for our local food bank families.  This green yarn was free at our February Guild meeting, and I'm not sure it is truly Seahawk's green, but it was good to try it!  This green will certainly work in another combination!

Manx Loaghtan plyed!

Second breed in my spinning resolutions for 2015.  This one also has an interesting history and makes a firm and hardy yarn. I'm thinking of knitting some sort of cowl or scarf with sections from each breed so I can recall how that breed specific yarn turned out. Using a different knit pattern for each breed too.  I'll have to figure that out soon!
