Camping Cast On!

I have wanted to knit this Painted pattern by Louise Zass-Bangham since it came out as a Loopy Ewe pattern of the month for a club.  So I waited until I could buy it, and then Jitteryknitter gave me marvelous yarn from Western Sky Knits and the cast on was magical!  Love this pattern, love the new stitch in the pattern, and love the Signature Needles too!

Sweetie Hat!

such fun to knit these little umbilical cord hats! They work up quickly and I love this yarn! 

Almost Done!

These are youngest daughter's birthday socks, almost ready to cast off before her 17th birthday on Tuesday!  They are beautiful (and so is my daughter!!!)!!  I will finish them on our weekend camping trip!

Hello Earl!

Earl the Ram, from Mary Beth's farm in Michigan, she says he is a feisty ram, and only alive due to his soft fiber. Yes, Earl is very soft and a lovely spin, I am glad Mary Beth has kept him around and not put him in the stew pot!

Last One Done!

 My last Bear Top to match a Bear Skirt for the Camp Erin Bears!  Youngest daughter calls this my "Rage Knitting" since it feels like an obligation instead of knitting for fun, yet I still had fun using up stash odds and ends and having lots of quick success with Finished Objects!

 This fiber is so beautiful!  I have missed my Pocket Wheel these past three weeks and it is good to be back spinning!
