Border Section!

Yes! I am knitting the last few rows of the border section!  I made this much larger than pattern called for since I had 300 + yards of Jitterbug sock yarn and the pattern calls for 200 yards of DK weight yarn.  I will use up as much of the yarn as possible!  Happy New Year!

More Orbit!

Still finding time to knit on the Orbit Shawl by Janina Kallio with this great Jitterbug yarn. Can I finish this by the end of this year?

Road Trip Knitting!

More time to knit on one of my projects!  My hand spun yarn for socks, and almost to the heels!  Could I possibly get to the heel turns before the new year????

Christmas Cowls!

Girls are so cute in two of their Christmas cowls! We went on a special outing to see the new Star Wars movie, and they look great!  Plus, they are cozy warm!  So glad they like them!!!

Waist Decreases!

Working on my custom fit sweater, and already to the waist decreases on the back section. Very exciting to have some time over vacation to be knitting on projects for me!

Knitting Notions!

Wow! My family gave me a laptop for Christmas!  This has been on my wish list for many years, and I am so excited to have it now!  My youngest set up the screen with these adorable alpacas, plus my identification picture is Bad Alice, the sheep from Trenary. Yes, my family gets me!!! :)  So, now I'm knitting my custom fit sweater and using my laptop for blogging, Ravelry and all those important knitting activities.  Thanks Family!!!!!

Back to my custom fit sweater knitting, feels so good to be knitting on a project for me! Long way to go on this sweater, yet every row gets me closer to being finished!

Christmas Eve Orbit!

Back to knitting for me!  Holiday knitting is complete so I am knitting on my Orbit Shawl by Janina Kallio. Knitting for me feels very good, indeed!!  A great way to celebrate Christmas Eve!

50th Project of 2015!

Wow!  This hat is my 50th completed project for 2015!  Well Done Me!!  There have been many charity projects for bears and for teen hats, yet I still feel that 50 is a great many completed projects!  Plus one sweater!!!!!  Hurrah! Hurrah!!!

Holiday Helix Hat!

The tree is decorated and we are closer to being ready for Christmas!  So excited for our holiday!

Knitting with Charlie!

Our Christmas Miracle, Charlie the lovely rescue cat that we adopted today! He is a beautiful grey with a "tuxedo" white marking on his chest, plus white paws. So far, we think he likes us, and we think he is adorable!  He is sitting with us while I knit on a Christmas cowl.

Helix Done!

love this hat with the super soft yarn!!! So far, one of my very favorite Helix Hats!!

Deja vu!

It is great to be knitting again at a coffee shop while waiting for my youngest to do her off season weight lifting for distance track. Over an hour of uninterrupted knitting time, and yummy coffee too!  Another helix hat almost done!

Cast Off at Pageant!

Done with another Christmas cowl!  Feels good to finish on time!!!  Hurrah!!

Teen hats set free!

So excited to deliver all my knitted charity Teen Hats to the Gift Barn so that families can choose them for their teens. This year's theme for my knitted hats was Seahawks colors, so hopefully the area teen boys will like them!  Here are rock stars Cori and Liz modeling these fabulous hats! Next year I hope to knit more for this wonderful and worthy cause!!

Knitting minutes!
