Community Zumba!

Our last Zumba with JEAN before the neighborhood kids go off to college. See how we were all awarded the jingly scarfs for our efforts- except Aaron, but he still rocked his first Zumba class! Another great dance session, and I'm excited about next Tuesday's Zumba already!  Jean is an amazing teacher and a fabulous dancer, plus all of her songs get stuck in one's head so we are dancing around to those songs until the next Tuesday class! 

232 Yards Camel/Silk ~

So beautiful and soft!  Still some think and thin spots, yet lovey!  What cowl can I knit with 232 yards?!

Bobbin Two ~

This fiber is very slippery to spin, and I am finding I can't spin as thin as I'd like because it pulls apart. More training needed on this lovely fiber! It is going to be beautiful yarn!

Lucky 13!

Starting on the 13th teen hat!  This one has two of my hand spun yarns (light blue and the variegated) and a bulky black.  It should be done fast!

Birthday Zumba!

This birthday celebration keeps getting better and better! Tonight, Zumba with Jean, and I was rewarded with my first jangle scarf during the Zumba class! Thanks, Jean, for such a great class, and thanks to these great dancers that celebrated with me!!

Birthday Handspun Cast On!

Using my handspun and hand dyed yak silk from our 2016 Dye Day, I cast on the Diamond Cowl. I love this yarn! I love Birthdays!!
