Blanket by the sea ~

We had a great weekend at the ocean. The first night was rainy and stormy and the ocean was crashing and frothy. We walked on the beach before it became too stormy, and once inside we watched the stormy sea from the cozy chairs in front of the big picture windows facing the ocean.

Watching the ocean is perfectly paired with knitting. The first night I worked on mum's blanket. I realized there was another error in the pattern, and decided to fix it as a design feature... I took the picture before it became dark and too stormy.
