Ankle bone connected to...

Yes, the ankle bone is connected to the heel bone... and I've made great progress on these socks of sweet E!

I gave myself a reward of knitting this evening after working very hard today on wrapping a small mountain of gifts.

So I'm about an inch (or more) into the ribbing of the cuff.
