Christmas Tea ~

We had a delightful neighborhood tea today. Virginia had five of the neighborhood ladies over and we sipped wonderful mint tea and Lady Earl Grey tea out of dainty hand painted cups from England.


We ate little finger sandwiches, crab pastries, raspberry tarts, chocolate truffles and mini-pineapple upside down cakes.


We used silver serving dishes and silver tongs, and Virginia wore a vintage black velvet dress with beaded shoulders and yoke. It was a perfect way to relax with friends this afternoon ~ a wonderful Christmas tradition....
