Plying Otter Pop Lilly!

Lilly turned out to be 300 yards of lovely yarn, with a bit of a halo. I would guess this is DK or sport weight yarn and I love the colors that my daughter made from otter pop dying.  I am wondering what to knit with Lilly's yarn!  Lilly is a Leicester from Mary Beth's farm in the upper peninsula of Michigan.

Kool Aid Dying!

Inspired by Vinita at our knitters' retreat, daughter and I decided to spend the afternoon dying with Kool Aid.  This fiber is from Mary Beth's farm in Upper Michigan, her sheep, Seldon the Corriedale.

Earl's second bobbin!

Earl is such a softie as far as fiber goes - I can't wait to ply this small bit of paradise fiber!  Thanks again to Mary Beth, my Michigan fiber supplier! :)

Hello Earl!

Earl the Ram, from Mary Beth's farm in Michigan, she says he is a feisty ram, and only alive due to his soft fiber. Yes, Earl is very soft and a lovely spin, I am glad Mary Beth has kept him around and not put him in the stew pot!
