Birthday heels ~

Now I am staring through the heels on my birthday socks. Have I mentioned how much I love this Claudia Hand Paint yarn?

I love the Tropicanna color, always summer while I'm knitting them ~ bright and cheery with oranges, yellows and lime green!

I love these socks!

Finish Fair Isle ~

This hat turned out very nice, indeed. Knit out of Manos, this was a fun knit.

It was such a fun knit, I think I'll be casting on another one soon!

Mum's heels ~

Finally finished turning the heels on mum's Christmas socks. I need to memorize the heel turn pattern, as I am tied to the Queen Kahuna book step~by~step for the wonderful gap free heel turn.

Next I'll do my Birthday sock heels!

Softball Fun ~

There was much excitement on Friday, as #2 daughter had her first softball game. She was amazing in her first game, catching line drives...

blasting a hit into the outfield for a double....

Plus her team squeaked out a win, 6 -5.

Hurrah!!

Fair Isle Fun ~

Making progress on my fair isle hat for the church bazaar.

I'm liking the color combination, and fair isle has such a relaxing rhythm...

Cross country fun ~

This is why I didn't knit tonight, as we were cheering for our cross country team!
They all were great and we all had such fun watching them run.

Hurrah for these gals!!!

More Hats ~

In the spirit of remembrance of September 11th, I've finished another hat out of leftover Manos this weekend.

Plus I've cast on another hat as well, out of stash Manos. This one is a fair isle pattern.

I'm hoping to finish it this week....knitting for charity feels so good...
