Sadly running out of neon yarn

waiting for appointment and find out that I am almost out of my neon yarn for this helix hat. So sad, as these neon hats have been a blast to knit!

It seems like this fiber took forever to spin and ply, yet so happy that it is done and such a large yardage amount!  No wonder it took so long!!

Finally Plying!!

After all these months of slowly spinning singles, I am finally plying this fiber!  Still lumpy in parts, but feels lofty and soft!

Caucus for Bernie!

Doing a bit of knitting while waiting for the doors to open for our caucus this morning.  Happy to volunteer with family and friends, and so proud our of neighborhoods for such a large turn-out!  #BernieForTheWin

Still Spinning!

I have been spinning this Abundant Fiber since October.  I need to finish the singles so I can ply it to see how the yarn feels. So far, the singles have some bumps and lumps, not sure if that would be from the merino or alpaca....just keep spinning!!!!

I haven't knit on this project since Madrona weekend! I've been missing this lovely yarn by One Twisted Tree!

Yup, next blanket!

Yup, just cast off the graduation blanket yesterday for youngest daughter, and now casting on the Christmas gift blanket for oldest daughter. Knitting is Great!  I still love this pattern and these bright colors! Life is good!
