High Altitude Knitting ~

Well, not exactly Colorado's version of high altitude, but higher than normal camping altitude is where we hiked this weekend. We drove to the end of the road where we camp, up all the switch backs, and started hiking at the dead end. We climbed up and up and up, and feasted on wild blueberries all along the trail. At the end of the hike was the beautiful Thorpe Lake.

Beautiful, isn't it!

The kids went way up on the rocks to eat their lunch. Can you even see them at the very top of these rocks?

We stayed down on these rocks for our lunch...and some resting.... Then some discoveries nearby...
well, and of course I brought my knitting...so I knit a few rounds....

While the others were exploring the rocks....

Beautiful, isn't it?!!!!

An amazing place to knit!!!
